Biancaea Sappan is a type of blossoming tree in the vegetable family, Fabaceae, that is local to tropical Asia.

We source Sappanwood directly from tribal groups living around Nilambar and Wayanad deep forests in Kerala, India.

Regular names in English incorporate Sappanwood and Indian redwood.

In India, it is also known as Pathimugam or Karingali.
